Role: Content Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Content Creation (70%)

  • Write copy for LinkedIn articles and adhoc marketing material requests utilizing TPG's internal AI platform, confirming sources are recent, legitimate, and valid
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to review drafts, confirm content relevance and accuracy. Support keyword research and implement SEO best practices, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, image optimization, and on-page SEO
  • Review, edit, and proofread content including case studies, website copy, articles, and marketing collateral to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with TPG's brand voice
  • Repurpose content for LinkedIn and email quarterly newsletter campaigns, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Source appropriate images for inclusion in all content, including social media posts
  • Design engaging social media graphics and cover images that align with TPG's brand and support content promotion
  • Support the execution of the monthly content calendar in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, aligning content with marketing priorities, service offerings, industry trends, and SEO opportunities

Website Maintenance (20%)

  • Publish updates and format website content in WordPress and/or Webflow following established templates and brand guidelines
  • Maintain existing website content by updating copy, images, downloadable assets, and supporting materials as required
  • Perform basic quality assurance checks before publishing, including formatting, links, and image quality

Marketing Research & Other (10%)

  • Support competitor and industry research to identify content ideas, topics, and marketing trends
  • Other duties as assigned in the marketing department

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Experience creating B2B digital content for a professional services firm employing SEO to increase relevant website traffic

  • Design and Content Expertise: Strong eye for design and content, knowing how to capture attention and craft messaging that resonates with an executive audience. You have a keen sense for persuasive and professional copy that encourages readers to act
  • Detail-oriented: Exceptional focus on accuracy and quality control. You rigorously fact-check content, scrupulously edit copy against TPG brand guidelines, and execute detailed QA checks on web pages, email newsletters, and social assets before publication
  • Curious and Proactive: With an interest in researching competitors, industry trends, and new marketing ideas to continuously improve content performance. You are comfortable working independently and seek to understand where ambiguity exists
  • Tech-Savvy & Connected: You are comfortable adapting and applying new technologies as the marketing industry evolves, to improve efficiency and increase content performance
  • Quick Learner: You can rapidly master a new portfolio and understand our brand, what differentiates us in the market and apply that to all your work
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and resources effectively, while maintaining a focus on the details and meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 1-3 years of direct experience writing content for professional B2B services to reach decision-makers in the North American market
  • Content Management Systems: Experience with WordPress, familiarity with Webflow is an asset
  • SEO: Understanding of SEO, experience with Keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization
  • Analytics & Reporting: Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs is considered an asset
  • Core Applications: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Proficiency in Canva is required
