Receiver/ Forklift Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Unload inbound shipments from trailers, flatbeds and other carriers. Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials. Verify the accuracy of shipments, inspecting goods for damage and discrepancies. Sort, organize, and stage the product received to prepare for the put away of the product into its designated location. Ensure that all incoming shipments are properly labeled and tracked in the WMS Record and Report all non-conformities to the Lead Receiver. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, following safety and security protocols. Collaborate with the Lead Receiver to list/forecast shipments and expected time arrivals. Responsible for general housekeeping but not limited to such as; garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, disposal of broken products in accordance with warehouse policy. On occasion may be required to load trucks with products and materials Responsible for the safe operation of all warehouse equipment (lifts, ladders etc.). Plays an active role in the team by openly sharing opinions and ideas on how to improve the fill process, and by participating in meetings and all training as required. Engages in learning activities and listens to feedback to improve their own abilities. Complies with company, store, and warehouse policies. Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations.
