General Laborer- Machine operator

Job description

People Store Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a Machine Operator for our client in South London.

Available Shifts

• Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Days: 7:00 - 3:00 PM
  

Duties

• Set up, adjust, and operate machines
• Perform production tasks according to company standards
• Conduct quality inspections of completed units
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Work comfortably and safely in a warehouse/manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, factory, or machine operating experience is required
• Candidates must have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Must be comfortable speaking and communicating in English and be able to understand and obtain information in English
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or recent graduate in a machine operating related field
• Proven track record of positive attendance and reliability
• CSA-approved safety boots or shoes
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Please note: Manufacturing/factory experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English are mandatory requirements for this position.
