What You'll Be Doing * Develop proposals: Review RFPs/RFQs and prepare clear, accurate, and competitive technical and commercial proposals. * Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Finance, and other teams to gather technical, financial, and project information. * Support customer solutions: Partner with Sales to develop solutions that meet customer requirements while considering project scope, services, software, and costs. * Manage proposal activities: Track quotations and proposals, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure submissions meet required timelines and company standards. * Support continuous improvement: Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices to help improve proposal processes and quality. What We're Looking For * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. * 5+ years of proposal experience in application engineering or a similar technical role. * Systems knowledge in SCADA, automation, control systems, or the IT industry is an asset. * Strong technical and proposal writing skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and persuasive content. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Visio and Microsoft Project is an asset. * Strong attention to detail when reviewing RFP/RFQ requirements, cost breakdowns, proposal formatting, and wording. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while collaborating effectively with customers and internal teams * Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Mississauga and reporting to the Proposals Manager.
