Food World Plus is looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated General Labourers to join our team in Mississauga. In this role, you will assist with a variety of general labour duties, including loading and unloading materials, organizing products, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and supporting daily store and warehouse operations. You will work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing products and materials.

• Receive, sort, and organize merchandise in the sales floor, backroom, and storage areas.

• Replenish products and supplies as required.

• Assist with setting up displays, promotional materials, and store fixtures.

• Keep work areas, storage areas, and common areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Handle products and materials carefully to prevent damage.

• Assist team members with daily operational and general labour tasks.

• Report damaged, missing, or unsafe items to supervisors promptly.

• Follow company safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.

• Operate basic equipment and tools as required and in accordance with company procedures.

• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

• Perform other general labour duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals

Qualifications

• Previous general labour, warehouse, retail, grocery, or similar experience is an asset but not required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Strong work ethic and a reliable, positive attitude.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
