Job Overview
Your local Korean restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked safely and maintained at proper temperatures in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to support smooth kitchen workflow

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
Understanding of Korean cuisine would be a great asset
