Mikisew Group LP, a Mikisew Group company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrator (Time Entry).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily Force reports completed and sent to LEM coordinator and HR daily
- Site scheduling: Meet with Supervisor / Manager to determine site schedule and act as focal point for site scheduling
- Collect work order numbers, job descriptions, employee numbers and verified for completeness
- All LEM's are to be sent to Capital Region Office weekly as scheduled, including administration of site file copies
- Job Costing Report: Man-hours by work orders
- Gate log – FAS entry
- Weekly Timesheets: Record LEM's onto a weekly timesheet and check for missing hours or irregularities. The weekly timesheets are to be approved and signed by the Site Superintendent and submitted to Capital Region Office as scheduled
- Reception and Clerical duties, specifically, copying, typing correspondence, continuously maintaining site files along with an up-to-date file index
- PO.'s and purchase of office supplies - issue P.O.'s and tracking of P.O.'s, ensuring proper approval and signature and attaching invoices before forwarding to Capital Region office.
- Site Employee Human Resources Files
- Process employee new hire documentation
- Process layoff clearance
- Process changes to payroll
- Maintain personnel files (Active/Inactive)
- Ability to preserve Confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Working in an office environment
- This position is assigned to the Office - located in Fort McMurray, AB.
- Shift: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) with the potential of transitioning to 7/7 schedule
Qualifications
- Accurate data entry skills
- Office skills, including Word & Excel skills, SAP, Avanti
- Basic Accounting skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Customers service skills
- Organized and methodical in approaching work and resulting issues
- Meet all deadlines for work assigned
- Employee HR file information accurate and up to date
- Excellent rapport with customer personnel
- Provide correspondence assistance in a timely manner
- Accurate Timekeeping
- Identify problems with personnel/payroll issues.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Accounting Diploma/Certificate (Will be considered an asset)
