Position Overview
APEX is currently accepting applications for a Parts Finisher to join our Aerospace Component Manufacturing Group. This is a full-time position reporting to the Sheetmetal & Deburring Supervisor. The primary role of this position is to perform all finishing work required on aerospace products. Some weekend work and/or overtime may be required.
Responsibilities

Reading and understanding part finishing requirements from travelers and drawings.
Maintaining work area organization and cleanliness.
Performing a general part finishing operation (break edges, chamfer).
Performing hand-finishing functions (polishing, surfacing, grinding) on small or large machine and sheet metal parts.
Operating manual & electrical tools (tapping, drill press, pemserter, bench grinder).
Performing, cleaning, labeling and packaging of parts.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude (capacity for learning).
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of the aerospace manufacturing industry would be considered an asset.
Strong teamwork values.
