ABOUT REVWHISPER

RevWhisper is a fully managed Airbnb revenue and listing optimization service for short-term rental operators, including hosts, co-hosts, and property management companies. We help our clients increase revenue, improve listing visibility, and maximize performance without having to personally manage every pricing, marketing, and optimization lever themselves.

Unlike software platforms, RevWhisper delivers a hands-on service powered by automation, data, AI-assisted workflows, market research, and operational expertise. Our clients partner with us because they want measurable results and a team that knows how to turn insights into action.

As we continue expanding across North America, we're looking for an Account Executive who can take our inbound pipeline of qualified operators and convert it into signed, activated listings.

WHY THIS IS A GREAT SEAT

We are a small, fast-moving team built on AI-assisted workflows. That means warm, qualified, pre-booked meetings instead of self-sourced pipeline, a documented sales process with call recordings and real coaching, and direct access to leadership where your input on process and messaging actually changes things.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Executive is responsible for converting qualified inbound opportunities into signed, onboarded listings under RevWhisper management. This role reports directly to RevWhisper leadership.

This is a closing role, not a prospecting role. Our growth and marketing systems generate the pipeline. Your job is to run the conversation, build the revenue case, handle the objections, and bring the operator across the line. You will not be cold calling, cold emailing, or building your own lead lists.

Because RevWhisper prices per listing rather than per client, your performance is measured in units, not logos. A single co-host or property management company can represent five, ten, or thirty units in one conversation. The Account Executives who do best in this seat are those who recognize a portfolio opportunity early and act on it, while still converting single-property hosts efficiently.

Target performance in this role is 30 new active units per month, with an uncapped bonus above that. This is a benchmark we have hit ourselves with the same inbound pipeline you'll be working with, so it is a real number rather than an aspirational one.

Compensation & Earning Potential

Base salary: 72,000 CAD annually

Performance bonus: 300 CAD per new active unit above the monthly quota of 15, paid monthly and uncapped

On-track earnings at target run rate (30 units per month): 126,000 CAD annually, with uncapped upside above that

Ramp bonus: an additional 300 CAD per active unit above your ramp target during the first three months, on top of any standard bonus earned

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run scheduled discovery and closing calls with qualified inbound operators — hosts, co-hosts, and property management companies.

  • Diagnose each prospect's current performance across occupancy, ADR, listing quality, and competitive positioning, and translate that diagnosis into a concrete revenue case.

  • Identify and prioritize multi-unit and portfolio opportunities, and structure proposals that reflect our portfolio pricing tiers.

  • Prepare property and revenue analyses to support proposals, including comps and market context.

  • Own the full follow-up cycle on every open opportunity until it closes or is genuinely disqualified.

  • Manage pipeline in our CRM with accurate stages, notes, next steps, and activity logging.

  • Handle pricing conversations, objections, and contracting through to signature.

  • Ensure every signed client is cleanly handed off to the optimization team and successfully onboarded and activated.

  • Maintain awareness of pipeline inputs, outputs, and projected unit flow, and forecast accurately.

  • Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate proposal drafting, market research, follow-up sequencing, and opportunity tracking — working faster without letting quality or accuracy slip.

  • Feed recurring objections, pricing friction, and competitive intelligence back to marketing and leadership.

  • Contribute to the sales playbook — call recordings, objection handling, and proposal templates improve because the people using them improve them.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years in a quota-carrying closing role — SaaS, marketing or agency services, property management, financial services, or a comparable B2B or prosumer sale.

  • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding a monthly or quarterly quota.

  • Comfort discussing revenue, ROI, payback periods, and pricing without hesitation.

  • Strong consultative discovery skills — the ability to diagnose before prescribing.

  • Excellent written follow-up; a meaningful share of this deal cycle happens over email and SMS.

  • Disciplined CRM hygiene and pipeline management.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage a high volume of concurrent opportunities.

  • Coachable and receptive to call review and ongoing sales development.

  • Able to work full-time from our Hamilton, Ontario office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling marketing, SEO, performance, or other recurring-revenue services.

  • Familiarity with the short-term rental, Airbnb, Vrbo, hospitality, or property management industries.

  • Experience selling into property management companies or multi-property portfolio operators.

  • Working knowledge of STR economics — occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, seasonality, dynamic pricing.

  • Proficient use of AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, or similar — to speed up sales proposals, property and market research, task management, and opportunity tracking. We're a company built on AI-assisted workflows, and we want a closer who already thinks that way rather than one we have to convince.

  • Entrepreneurial, startup, or growth-stage company experience.

TRAINING & RAMP

Onboarding runs the first two weeks and covers the RevWhisper service and our differentiators, short-term rental economics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue management), the Airbnb ranking and visibility landscape, our pitch and objection handling, CRM proficiency, and the proposal process. You will complete a mock-pitch certification before selling live.

You will be given a graduated monthly unit target for your first three months, set with you during onboarding, building to full run rate by month three. Ramp objectives beyond unit count: pass mock-pitch certification by the end of week two, first signed client within first 30 days, and 90%+ CRM logging compliance throughout.

BENEFITS

  • Health insurance

  • Paid time off, including PTO, sick days, and vacation days

  • Healthcare spending or reimbursement accounts (HSAs, FSAs, HRAs)
