Job summary:
As a Hydrovac Operator you are responsible for safely operating hydrovac equipment, completing excavation and utility support services, maintaining equipment, and following all safety and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

As a Hydrovac Operator you are responsible for safely operating hydrovac equipment, completing excavation and utility support services, maintaining equipment, and following all safety and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Provide hydrovac services in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Operate, care for, and maintain equipment to company standards.
- Complete daily inspections and immediately report or correct any identified defects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs as required by legislation.
- Ensure proper and legal load securement practices are followed.
- Follow all company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements, including participation in safety meetings.
- Represent the organization professionally by operating vehicles and equipment safely, courteously, and responsibly.
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License.
- Experience assisting with or operating hydrovac, vacuum excavation, or CCTV inspection equipment.
- CSTS, First Aid, Confined Space, and TDG certifications are considered assets.
- Flexible schedule to meet operational requirements.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Willingness and ability to travel or work out of town when required.
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment testing.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
