The AZ Heavy Float Driver is responsible for operating heavy float trucks and lowboy trailers to transport construction materials and specialized heavy loads across local and provincial routes. This role requires expertise in manual transmission vehicle handling, load securing, and adherence to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy float trucks and lowboy trailers safely and efficiently
- Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate deliveries with dispatch and customers to meet schedule requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Manage vehicle operation involving manual transmission skills
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in heavy vehicle driving
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid AZ License
