The Graphic Designer is the creative powerhouse behind all RideWrap graphic brand content. Operating from RideWrap Headquarters in Whistler, BC, this role works alongside the Marketing Team to bring branding, digital, and physical marketing concepts to life. The ideal candidate is deeply dialed into the biking industry, creative, adaptable, and a highly organized self-starter who balances visual style with a professional work ethic and precise attention to detail.
RideWrap provides the global mountain bike industry with high-quality bike protection components. Our core products—including our industry-leading Tailored Protection™ kits—are engineered for the best fit and highest coverage in the market and enjoy insatiable global demand.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
The Graphic Designer's responsibilities cover brand stewardship, content creation, asset management, and cross-departmental collaboration:
- Brand Stewardship: Develop, modify, and maintain graphic brand content to keep it looking fresh within our Brand Guidelines
- Content Creation: Create social, ad, email, graphic, and presentation assets that follow brand guidelines and support strategic marketing goals.
- Digital Design: Design and refine web pages to support new marketing initiatives and the evolving brand visual style.
- Special & Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with ambassadors and professional riders to create unique, high-impact art for special projects, such as Creator Protection™ kit graphics, unique graphics kits for riders/teams, and other marketing assets. Work with other departments to deliver on special projects as needed.
- Asset Management: Own the organization, structure, and accessibility of the marketing digital assets library.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on various other elements of the overall marketing strategy, campaign execution, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who possesses the following requirements:
- Design Experience: Proven professional experience in graphic design, illustration, and branding is essential. A comprehensive, high-quality design portfolio is requested.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is essential.
- Education: A formal qualification or degree with an emphasis in graphic design, marketing, and/or communications is considered a strong asset.
- Industry Interest: A keen, authentic interest in the mountain biking and cycling industry is highly valued.
- Core Traits: Creativity, unique visual style, and adaptability. High degree of organization, excellent time management skills, and strict attention to detail.
- Teamwork & Conduct: A strong work ethic, a positive team attitude, and a high level of professional conduct. An ambitious attitude and a love for creating stuff!
