Window Blind Fabricator

As a window blind fabricator with us you will perform the following tasks:

· Assist with the receiving, unpacking, and stocking of raw materials for our shop

· Cut raw materials as needed for the fabrication of blinds

· Assemble blind parts to meet our standard of excellence and our delivery schedule

· Perform repairs or alterations on existing window blinds as needed

· Package finished goods and ready them for shipping, installation, or pickup

· Accept guidance and instruction from our experienced team when offered

· Use light power tools and have a keen eye for precision and quality

· Enjoy working with your hands and making something beautiful and useful

· Maintain a clean and orderly work space and assist with shop cleanliness

· Utilize safe work practices at all times

· Assist with raw material inventory management and updates

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Able to stand all day while working with your hands fabricating a variety of window blinds

· Familiar with the use of light power tools and hand tools

· Have the means to lift 50 lbs regularly every day

· Comfortable working in a team atmosphere

· Able to read fabrication work orders and follow fabrication direction precisely

· Willing to learn and be trained by our staff on the way we build blinds

· Experience in fabrication and assembly of window blinds

· Good communication skills (oral and written) in English are preferred

· A self starter who can work independently in a timely and organized manner

· Outgoing personality with a courteous, pleasant, and professional manner

· Must have a clean driver's licence and having a vehicle is a bonus
