About this Role

If you are looking for a long-term position as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in progressive, state-of-the-art Orthodontic/Dental offices. We are looking for a Full-Time Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, approximately 32-40 hours/week. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements: (The applicant must meet the following requirements)

  • High School diploma
  • Must be computer proficient and learn new software easily (software used in our office are Ortho2 Edge and Curve Hero)
  • Previous experience in customer service or office administration is an asset.
  • Ability to present treatment plans and finalize financial arrangements
  • Ability to work with a large team
  • Be proactive
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to change and a growing practice
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to be cross trained in other areas of the clinic
  • Must be willing to travel between different office locations

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Taking diagnostic pictures
  • Explaining orthodontic treatment and appliances to patients and parents
  • Setting up financial contracts and payment plans
  • Address patient questions and concerns
  • Follow up with patients and insurance companies
  • Be proficient working with different insurance companies
  • Be well versed in our billing process and cost of procedures, treatments and consultations
  • Review Treatment Coordinator statistics and reports
  • Work in partnership with the Financial Coordinator to help patients initiate treatment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma
  • Customer service and consultation experience is an asset
  • Previous experience working in an orthodontic office or a dental office (preferred but not required)
