Lead Inspector- Days

We are currently recruiting for our client in the automotive sector. The selected candidate would have experience inspecting parts and leading a line. Your primary location would be Woodstock, but must be able to travel to Simcoe, Tillsonburg, Kitchener if needed. Job Duties: Prepare work instructions Work instruction and hands on training of all Inspectors for respective sort Gather and review data in Vantage Authorization of daily time sheets for assigned Inspectors Complete Inspector Competency reviews Provide input into Inspector Performance Appraisals Participate in orientation and training requirements for Inspectors Liaise with Company Customer Representative for relevant Customers (On) Off-site communications with Customers Training/prerequisites: Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance as some local travel is required Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Flexibility to meet customer service demands Familiar with all ISO standards Grade 12 diploma / GED, Post-secondary education preferred No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted Successful completion of company medical Local vehicle travel is required After training lead inspectors will be stationed in Woodstock. Must be able to work overtime. Typically working 6 day weeks, some 7 days. Double time is paid for Sundays. Leads will be used as the primary back-up in Kitchener if the Supervisor calls in or is on vacation etc. Mileage is paid for.
