The Role
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by loading and unloading shipments, receiving and storing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Forklift Operator plays a key role in ensuring products are handled safely, quality standards are maintained, and customer orders are fulfilled on time while adhering to all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Pick customer and production orders accurately
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation
- Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems, handheld barcode/scanners and other computerized inventory controls
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
