Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Multiple Positions Available

Timely Healthcare Services Inc. is currently recruiting 100+ Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for current and upcoming healthcare and community care assignments.

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional PSWs who are committed to providing respectful, safe, and person-centred care.

Position Details

Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time / Contract – based on available assignments
Pay: $20–$25 per hour
Number of Positions: 100+
Location: Multiple locations – assignments are offered based on staffing needs and the applicant's location.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assignment, PSW responsibilities may include:

• Assisting clients or residents with activities of daily living
• Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Providing feeding and meal assistance when required
• Supporting continence care
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's or resident's condition
• Following established care plans and directions from the nursing team
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Following infection prevention and control procedures
• Maintaining the dignity, privacy, safety, and independence of clients and residents
• Supporting a clean and safe care environment
• Following workplace, facility, and client-specific policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must provide:

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized program
• Police/Vulnerable Sector Check
• TB Test
• COVID-19 Vaccination Record, where required by the assignment or facility
• Recent passport-style photo
• Updated resume
• Professional references

CPR/First Aid certification and other training may be required depending on the assignment.

Previous experience in long-term care, retirement homes, hospitals, community care, or private home care is an asset.
