JOB SUMMARY:In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Production Worker is responsible for participating in a variety of the tasks and activities required to create high quality and reliable fireplace products. Ideal candidates will possess experience working with hand tools or working in a manufacturing/assembly environment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:Performing Assembly and/or Sub-Assembly work in a production environmentPerforming finishing work, painting, and/or grinding Packaging productsUtilizing equipment such brick saws and insulation cuttersMaking PalletsPerforming spot weldingParticipating in the product warranty/replacement parts processPerforming general labourQUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS:Abilities/Skills/KnowledgeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally)Ability to work closely with others in a production flow environmentEducation/TrainingValid forklift ticket is an assetExperienceManufacturing/Assembly experienceExperience with hand toolsPainting experienceGrinding experienceWhy work at Regency? We offer competitive hourly wages as you gain seniority, with hourly rates starting at $24.41 per hour with guaranteed increases to $25.29 after the first 1,000 hours worked and a further increase to $27.37 after the first 2000 hours worked. This is a full-time position located in Delta, BC.
Experience in manufacturing/assembly with hand tools is preferred, and a forklift ticket is an asset.
