Lead Inspector

People store is currently seeking a Lead Inspector to join our client in Tillsonburg a company that provides quality inspection and containment services for various automotive manufacturing companies.

The successful candidate will perform inspection duties while also taking on team lead responsibilities, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and containment activities within automotive manufacturing facilities.
• Lead and support inspection teams on-site.
• Assist with assigning tasks and coordinating team members.
• Ensure inspection procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
• Complete required documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Previous quality inspection or automotive experience is an asset.
• Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing and able to travel between our locations.
• Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC).
• Must have CSA-approved ankle safety boots.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience is an asset.
  Successful candidates must be available to travel between our Woodstock, Tillsonburg, Simcoe, and Kitchener sites as required.
