THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an organized and motivated Equipment Sales Representative to support the growth of their equipment sales across a range of customer segments, including private contractors, construction companies, paving companies, municipalities, government agencies, public works departments, road maintenance customers, rental customers, and other equipment-related businesses.
This is a primarily office-based sales role in Woodbridge, with responsibility for prospecting new opportunities, developing customer relationships, supporting the full sales cycle, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating deals, and working with internal teams to ensure a strong customer experience and post-sale support.
The successful candidate will work with both existing and prospective customers and will support sales opportunities across both private-sector and public-sector markets. While municipal and government sales will remain an important part of the role, the position is not limited to these customer segments and may involve pursuing opportunities with private contractors, construction companies, paving companies, and other equipment customers.
The role will involve a mix of office-based sales activity and customer-facing interaction. Travel will be required for customer meetings, contractor visits, trade shows, equipment demonstrations, deliveries, demobilization-related opportunities, and other sales-related activities. Expected travel will generally average approximately 15–25% per month, depending on customer requirements and business needs.
