MIG Welder Fitter – 7+ Years Required | Fabrication | Blueprint Reading Location: North York, ON

Pay: $27.00–$28.00/hour, based on experience Shifts:
Day: Mon–Thu 6:00 AM–3:00 PM | Fri 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Afternoon: Mon–Thu 3:00 PM–12:00 AM | Fri 2:00 PM–9:00 PM
Job Overview We are hiring an experienced MIG Welder Fitter for an industrial manufacturing environment specializing in vacuum systems. 7+ years of MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication experience is REQUIRED. This role involves semi-custom fabrication and requires strong blueprint/shop drawing reading skills.
Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication of industrial components
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
• Fit, align, measure, and assemble components before welding
• Use hand tools, torches, and fabrication equipment
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Lift materials up to 50 lbs. as required

Qualifications

• 7+ years of MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication experience – REQUIRED
• Strong industrial/manufacturing MIG welding experience
• Proven Welder Fitter experience
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
• Experience with mild steel/stainless steel, aluminium
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• CWB Certification is an asset
