Education Director - Oxford Learning West Vancouver

Oxford Learning West Vancouver is part of Canada's leading supplemental education franchise. We help students from Grades 1–12 build stronger foundational skills, confidence, and a love of learning through our proven active learning methodology. We're growing and looking for a passionate, experienced education leader to join our team.

We are seeking a dedicated Education Director to lead our academic programs, mentor our tutoring team, and ensure every student achieves outstanding results. This is a key leadership role responsible for the quality and success of our educational delivery.

Job details:

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

• Oversee all academic programs and ensure high-quality delivery of Oxford Learning's curriculum
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of tutors and instructors
• Conduct regular tutor observations, feedback sessions, and professional development
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to maximize results and retention
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and program recommendations
• Maintain strong relationships with local schools and the community
• Support centre operations including scheduling, assessments, and program placements
• Uphold Oxford Learning's high standards of educational excellence

• Post-secondary degree in Education, Child Development, or related field (OCT or BC teaching certificate is a strong asset)
• Minimum 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience (preferably with elementary and/or high school students)
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience (highly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of British Columbia curriculum
• Passionate about education and helping students succeed
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Organized, positive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Oxford Learning or similar tutoring/education programs is a plus

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 / year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 7:30pm
