As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day servicing of personal and commercial insurance accounts. You will work closely with brokers, insurance company partners, and clients to ensure policy changes and requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client emails in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist clients with inquiries regarding personal and commercial insurance policies.

• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, billing inquiries, and other routine transactions.

• Prepare certificates of insurance, policy documents, and client correspondence.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the Broker Management System (BMS).

• Communicate with insurance company partners to obtain information, process requests, and resolve client concerns.

• Ensure all transactions comply with brokerage and insurer guidelines.

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing courteous, knowledgeable, and solution-focused service.

Qualifications

• Active RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) licence is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in personal and/or commercial lines insurance is considered a strong asset.

• 1–3 years of customer service experience in insurance, banking, retail, hospitality, call centres, or another customer-focused environment.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.

• Comfortable typing while speaking with clients and working with multiple applications using dual monitors.

• Experience with a Broker Management System (BMS) is an asset.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site at our Vaughan office.
