What began with handing out sandwiches to people experiencing homelessness has grown into a multi-site organization with over 100 staff serving people across a variety of programs. Every day we serve hundreds of meals, provide emergency shelter, and walk alongside individuals on their journey toward stability and recovery.

We are a Christian faith-based organization committed to seeing lives transformed by the love of God.

To support this work, we are looking for a Coffee Shop Keyholder to join our team.

Our coffee shop operates as a social enterprise and employment program, providing participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in a supportive environment. This role plays an important part in both the daily operations of the coffee shop and in supporting participants as they develop workplace skills.

• Opening and/or closing the coffee shop as a keyholder
• Operating the POS system and handling cash transactions
• Maintaining a clean and organized coffee shop
• Supporting participants gaining employment experience in the coffee shop
• Modeling positive workplace behaviour and teamwork

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and passionate about contributing to a supportive and welcoming environment.

Qualifications include:

• Previous café, barista, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working alongside employment program participants
• Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain) required
