This is a full-time position responsible for executing field service requirements such as the installation and maintenance of wellheads, while providing exceptional customer service and representing the Company in a positive manner.
The successful candidate will work from the Greater Edmonton area and surrounding region and travel to field site locations as required. This role suits a hands-on technician who takes ownership of their assigned service unit, works safely without close supervision, and builds strong working relationships with customers in the field.What You'll Do
  • Execute field service requirements such as the installation and maintenance of wellheads while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain the assigned service unit, including tools and spare component requirements.
  • Deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies.
  • Provide customer property repair as required.
  • Ensure that in-depth service records and reports are maintained.
  • Provide support to sales and customer relations activities as required.
  • Perform roustabout duties and picker operations as required.
  • Travel to field site locations to provide assistance as required.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to workplace Health and Safety by conducting all operations in a safe manner and following all Company procedures and HSE policies.
  • Perform other related duties such as shop and vehicle maintenance as necessary.
What You Bring
  • Previous experience in wellhead installation and maintenance, oilfield field service, or a closely related trade.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety, including following all Company procedures and HSE policies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to field site locations, including overnight stays depending on job location.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage an assigned service unit, tools, and spare components.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent the Company professionally on customer sites.
  • Accurate record keeping skills for in-depth service records and reports.
  • Physically capable of working outdoors in all seasons and lifting and handling heavy components.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Picker or boom truck operator certification.
  • Roustabout or lease maintenance experience.
  • H2S Alive, Standard First Aid with CPR, Ground Disturbance Level 2, and CSTS or equivalent safety tickets.
  • Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
  • Experience with wellhead assembly, pressure testing, and painting.
  • Familiarity with pressure control equipment and applicable API standards.
  • Welding, rigging, or heavy equipment experience.
Work Environment
  • A combination of shop based work and field work at wellsites throughout the Greater Edmonton area and surrounding region.
  • Outdoor work in all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Travel to field site locations is required, with overnight stays depending on job location.
  • Shop and vehicle maintenance duties form part of the regular role.
  • Personal protective equipment is required at all times on site.
