RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, a Site Coordinator with Highstreet plays an important role in the day-to-day organization, coordination, and safety of our construction site. The day-to-day tasks would include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first aid on-site – Advanced First Aid certification required, and training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Support the Site Superintendent and Assistant Site Superintendent with construction and site-related administrative needs.
- Identify roadblocks, gather information, and coordinate solutions to keep site operations moving forward.
- Coordinate delivery tracking, issue PO's, support material procurement, and follow up on other project needs.
- Deliver site orientations to new workers on site.
- Conduct accident and injury investigations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excel expertise is particularly important. Experience working with spreadsheets, tracking data, and maintaining accurate records is important.
- Humble team player, self-motivated, and efficient.
- Superior organizational skills and experience managing processes.
- On-site construction experience preferred not required.
- Advanced First Aid preferred but not required.
- Procore and Blue Beam knowledge/experience considered a plus.
- Competency in reading construction drawings preferred but not required.
Compensation Package:
Annual Salary: $70,000-$90,000 ($33.65-$43.27/hr) – dependent on experience
Annual Bonus: Highstreet pays an annual bonus based on company performance. A typical bonus for a Site Coordinator is approximately 14% of annual salary. Determined annually, the bonus could be higher or lower, depending on performance results.
Investment Opportunity: Highstreet encourages all employees to share in our success by offering the opportunity to invest in the projects we build and operate. To encourage employee investment, Highstreet matches employee investment at 50%, up to 20% of annual salary (i.e. for every $1 invested by the employee, Highstreet invests $0.50 on the employee's behalf). The investments are TFSA and RRSP eligible.
Additional requirements:
- Satisfactory criminal and credit check.
- Class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle required.
- Employees are required to have a smartphone and be willing to download certain apps for timekeeping etc.
