General Labourer - Whitby, Ontario

United Recruiting is currently hiring dependable and hardworking General Labourers for a client located in Whitby, Ontario. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position involving frequent lifting and the safe movement of products throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, move, and organize products weighing approximately 30–50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive lifting and other physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Load and unload products, materials, skids, and deliveries.
• Move products safely to assigned warehouse or production areas.
• Assist with packaging, labelling, sorting, and preparing products for shipment.
• Inspect products and report damaged or incorrect items.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Use proper lifting techniques and required personal protective equipment.
• Complete additional general labour and warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be physically capable of repeatedly lifting 30–50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to attending every scheduled shift.
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety shoes are required.
• Previous general labour, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production experience is an asset.
