POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate with cooks, plate dishes neatly and consistently, and prepare completed orders for dine-in, takeout, bar/patio service, and pickup.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with cooks to track order timing, modifications, allergies, and service priorities.
- Plate dishes consistently with correct portions, garnishes, sides, sauces, and finishing touches.
- Check tickets for accuracy before dishes leave the kitchen or are packaged for takeout.
- Communicate with servers, cooks, and management about readiness, delays, or missing items.
- Keep the pass, plating, garnish, and service pickup areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Support takeout packaging, restocking, light prep, and opening/closing station duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Kitchen, plating, expediting, prep, food runner, or restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, timing, and communication with cooks and servers.
- Able to stay calm and accurate during busy service periods.
- Able to follow food safety, sanitation, allergen awareness, and workplace safety procedures.
