Warehouse Order Picker
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay: $18.25/hour
Position Type: Full-time position
Start Date: AU24
Shift: Start times between 4:00 AM and 10:00 AM
About the Role
We are currently hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for a busy warehouse operation in Burnaby. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare orders accurately according to customer requirements
- Read and understand product information, labels, and order documents
- Organize and stage picked orders for shipment
- Safely handle and move warehouse materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse order picking experience is required
- Strong reading, writing, and English communication skills
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Mobile equipment experience is an asset but not required
- Electric pallet jack experience
- Forklift certification/ticket
