We're looking for an Application (.NET) Developer & IT Support Analyst to join our client's IT team in a hands-on role that combines .NET development, SQL, application support, and IT support.

You'll develop and maintain internal business applications, troubleshoot SQL and application issues, and provide hands-on technical support for employees across Canada and the United States.

This is a great fit for a developer who enjoys variety, is confident with basic SQL, and is comfortable troubleshooting both applications and everyday hardware/software issues.

What will I be doing in this Application Developer & IT Support role?

You will support and maintain a portfolio of custom business applications, troubleshoot issues, write and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures, develop enhancements with C#/.NET, and provide user support across the organization.

Where is this job located and is it onsite or remote?

This role is based in Markham, ON and is fully onsite, five days a week in the office.

What kind of experience is required for this position?

The role requires 3–5+ years supporting business applications in a Microsoft environment, with strong SQL Server experience, and experience with C#/.NET and Visual Studio.

What salary is offered for this position?

The base salary is listed as $60,000–$70,000.

What types of tasks involve the IT support aspect of this job?

You’ll provide support to business users by phone, email, and remote tools, assist with hardware/software issues, and occasionally support office hardware, printers, and mobile devices.
