Coaching Standard
Standing at the front of the room and calling out exercises and counting reps is not coaching.
Our coaches move throughout the room, observe clients from different angles, correct movement, help with equipment when needed, encourage appropriate loading, celebrate progress and actively engage every person.
Whether there are 3 clients or 10 clients, the coaching standard stays the same
Hiring Process
CORESA has a thorough hiring and onboarding process to ensure every coach meets our coaching and member-experience standards.
Selected candidates will progress through:
- Main Interview Rounds — To assess coaching philosophy, technical knowledge, communication style, personality and alignment.
- Session Observation — Candidates will observe live Small Group sessions to understand our programming, coaching expectations and member experience.
- Coach Shadowing — Candidates will shadow sessions and learn how we coach, communicate, manage the room and work with individual clients within the group.
- Practical Test Sessions — Before being assigned regular sessions, candidates will have opportunities to demonstrate their coaching.
If you love strength training, care about the details, enjoy working closely with people and want to develop within a high-standard coaching environment, we'd love to hear from you.
