Mechanical Road Tech

Busy municipal equipment supplier is looking for an experienced road tech for our service department. We provide specialized recycling collection, compaction, transfer, and processing equipment to major municipal and industrial customers throughout North America. We also provide specialized fluid processing equipment to airports and industrial customers.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in mechanical and electrical repair
• Ability to weld (essential)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to think critically
• Capability to work independently
• Timely completion of documentation and work orders

A mechanic's license would be an asset but is not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Start your daily routine at our facility in Burlington, Ontario
• Perform field repairs of equipment
• Assist the installation team with installing new equipment and commissioning

Additional Details:

• You will have your own new service truck
• You will supply your own standard tools; any specialized tooling will be supplied by the company

Compensation and Benefits:

• Remuneration: $45 to $50 per hour based upon experience and capability
• Standard benefits are paid at 80% with no waiting period to qualify
• Company uniforms, safety equipment, and certifications training are supplied
