GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an experienced ILS Engineer!

Reporting to the Program Manager, the ILS Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) solutions that ensure our naval systems remain reliable, maintainable, supportable, and cost-effective throughout their lifecycle. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Publications, Training, Field Service, and Program Management to integrate requirements into product development and sustainment activities.

In this role, you'll lead the planning, development, and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) solutions and program deliverables across the full product lifecycle. From proposal and design through production, delivery, warranty, and in-service support (ISS), you'll be responsible for driving supportability engineering activities and contributing to the successful execution of complex programs. Key Responsibilities

Program Support & Cross-Functional Integration

  • Support one or more assigned programs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute ILS activities in accordance with program schedules and customer requirements.
  • Participate in program team meetings, design reviews, technical meetings, and customer meetings
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management and Field Service to integrate ILS requirements into the product design.
  • Support proposal development, technical estimates, schedules and ILS inputs for new business opportunities.

Product Support Engineering

  • Develop, review, and maintain Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities, including RAM, FMECA, LORA, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), sparing analysis, and lifecycle cost (LCC) analysis to support product development.
  • Support continuous ILS improvement of product throughout the product lifecycle
  • Support engineering changes by assessing impacts to maintenance, spares, documentation and lifecycle support

ILS Deliverables & Technical Documentation

  • Be accountable for the planning, development, quality, and timely delivery of assigned ILS deliverables throughout the program lifecycle
  • Ensure ILS deliverables comply with customer requirements, contractual obligations, applicable standards, and company processes
  • Monitor the status of ILS deliverables, identify schedule risks, and ensure all program milestones and customer commitments are achieved
  • Support the continuous improvement of ILS deliverables, templates, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or a technical degree from a recognized educational institution
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an ILS Engineering role
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)

Security Requirements

All candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.
