Python CNC Machine Operator

Our client, a Canadian provider of structural steel, is looking for a Python CNC Machine Operator to work in Newmarket! This is a full-time, long-term job opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts or programs for automation, data processing, and system tasks.
• Operate and monitor Python-based applications to ensure smooth daily execution.
• Debug and troubleshoot errors in Python code and suggest improvements.
• Integrate Python scripts with databases, APIs, or third-party tools.
• Document code, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform scheduled or on-demand runs of Python programs and verify outputs.

Requirements:

• Work in a fast-paced steel production/shop environment.
• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals (syntax, libraries, error handling).
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Attention to detail when running scripts and verifying results.

Pay rate:

• $27/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
