Skilled Laborer

We are seeking a Skilled Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various phases of construction projects by performing a wide range of manual and technical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment safely. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades and contribute to high-quality building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as framing, concrete forming, and masonry work.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Perform concrete finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and carpentry tasks with precision.
• Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations by following technical drawings and schematics.
• Carry out restoration work including surface preparation, caulking, painting, and drywall repair.
• Assist in the installation of cabinets, flooring, and other fixtures while adhering to project specifications.
• Use construction estimating skills to assist in material take-offs and project planning.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators or loaders when required.
