About the role:

The Wood Automotive Group is looking for an exceptional General Sales Manager to lead the Sales team at Advantage Ford—someone who is passionate about developing people, building a winning culture, and driving results.

This is an opportunity for an experienced automotive leader who knows that great performance starts with a great team. You'll lead, coach and develop your people, set high standards, and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the dealership.

The General Sales Manager will provide hands-on leadership of the Sales Department, working closely with Sales Managers to drive performance, develop people, deliver an exceptional customer experience and support the overall success of the dealership.

The ideal candidate will:

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.

Build a positive, accountable and motivated team culture.

Drive sales performance, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Identify opportunities and implement strategies for continued growth.

Build strong relationships with customers, employees and dealership leadership.

Be proficient with CRM tools and PBS Systems.

Qualifications:

Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams and future leaders.

5+ years of progressive automotive management experience.

Strong people skills with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Demonstrated ability to set expectations, provide feedback and build accountability.

Strong business acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales and financial results.

Energetic, collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people.
