Production Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Production Worker for our London-based client where health and safety is their business! Our client is looking for reliable, dedicated candidates to add to their team. This opportunity has great potential to be hired on full-time based on attendance and job performance! Pay Rate: $20.75

Shifts Available: 3:30pm to 1:30am

Start Date: ASAP

As a Production Worker, you would assist with the manufacturing of insulation components for customized orders. The shifts are from Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Use various tools/machinery to manufacture insulation components
• Assemble products
• Follow drawings and processes
• Comply with health and safety procedures and policies
• Perform quality checks of products
• Use/maintain forklift or warehouse equipment to fulfill orders (experience is an asset)
• Pack finished goods to be shipped
• Take preventative action to reduce discharge and/or disposal of waste and identify any issues/corrections needed
• Identify non-conformities related to product, processes, and quality - including halting production if required
• Perform any other duties assigned by your Supervisor

Skills Required:

• 1-3 years of machine operation experience (CNC is an asset)
• Paying close attention to detail is critical to ensure product accuracy and quality
• Woodworking experience
• Ability to read tape measures and rulers (metric and imperial)
• Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
