As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the daily processing of maintenance documentation, generating and routing work requests, work orders, preventative maintenance work orders, and calibration documentation. You will also be responsible for additional duties in the pouring dept. - details below.

Your additional responsibilities as Maintenance coordinator/crib attendant will include:

  • Setting up and maintenance of stock materials (spare parts and supplies) including updating of material info records, material cost, re-order points & quantities in coordination with maintenance personnel, Plant Manager & Division Accountant.
  • Set-up and maintain plant vendor info.
  • Maintain records of work orders for all assets within the plant.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure that the target inventory level is achieved.
  • Prepare documentation for shipping of parts and all transfers.
  • Arrange courier and/or trucker for pick-ups.
  • Periodic review of re-order quantities based on historical usage.
  • Monitor progress of work orders and adjust daily schedule as needed to keep effective work flow.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates them to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Enter maintenance time sheets into the SAP system daily and report all time on a monthly basis to corporate office.
  • Conduct physical inventory count to comply with corporate full count requirements, summarize and reconcile physical count against perpetual inventory, investigate inventory variances and introduce corrective measures to eliminate count variances.
  • Set up all preventative maintenance schedules for equipment as needed.
  • Update and close all completed work orders daily for the maintenance department.
  • Process purchases with an emphasis on cost savings.

Additional Responsibilities (Pouring Dept.)

  • Manage and process the receipt of chemicals in both SAP and PSM, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Post daily chemical consumption in SAP, identify and clear any back-flushed chemicals to maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular Chemical inventory checks, perform physical stock verification, and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock.
  • Identify and resolve incorrect chemical postings in PSM and SAP, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in chemical tracking.
  • Review and interpret pouring-related documents, ensuring proper filing and archiving for traceability and compliance.
  • Training will be provided.
