Job Title: Shipper/Receiver

Location: Edmonton, AB T5V 1E4

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $21/hr.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for managing daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations while ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and shipped. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse experience, be comfortable handling oversized and heavy-duty products, and possess experience operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse activities.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials safely and efficiently.
• Package and prepare oversized, large, and heavy-duty units on pallets for shipment.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight companies, and customers.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions within Oracle or other inventory management systems.
• Support order processing, invoicing, and material tracking activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient material flow.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety, environmental, and 5S standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, including:
• • Forklift
  • Reach Truck
  • Pallet Jack
• Experience handling, packaging, and shipping oversized, large, and heavy-duty products.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials throughout the shift.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Experience using Oracle for inventory management is considered an asset.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
