(AHI) Medical Laboratory Technologist

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Laboratory Services Department. The primary location for this position is: Alexandra Hospital, IngersollQualifications Required:Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine.Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferredDemonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner); Ability to work with minimal supervision;Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills; Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams; Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety; Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis; Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.Other pertinent conditions: Salary per the OPSEU collective agreement ($36.84 per hour to $50.24 per hour)Must be able to perform PhlebotomyApplying to this Position:If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for the position, please click on APPLY NOW and submit a resume detailing your qualifications.
