Welder Fitter

Job Summary

PKS Lifts Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will fabricate, fit, and weld custom structural components used in the production of heavy-duty automotive lifting equipment. This position requires strong drawing reading skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Interpret engineered drawings to fabricate a variety of custom structures.

· Working with Fixtures to tack & weld a variety of Product Lines.

· Working with Supervisors to promote continuous improvement.

· Fitting and Welding Product to high standard of quality in workmanship and be able to fit to tight tolerances.

· Must be able to work effectively and efficiently promoting growth and value as a team player.

Required Experience & Qualifications

· Completion of High School, Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

· CWB Certification and or Welder Trade Certification with a Minimum of 5 Years Experience.

· Fitting Experience is an asset.

· Must have knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the welding industry.

· Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, structural drawings, and welding symbols.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Must have experience working safely with all Material Handling tools, tooling and machinery in the fabrication industry.

· Practices safe work procedures and follows all Health and Safety regulations.
