Due North Mechanical is an established plumbing and gas fitting contractor looking to develop and grow our HVACr division. We're looking for an individual with a multi-faceted skillset, someone with the aptitude to do the work and the drive to develop and lead.
What You'll Do
- Handle installation, service, and repair of residential and commercial systems
- Establish and foster the division working from an established customer base
- Work closely with our team to set the division's direction
- Build, mold and lead a crew as the division scales
- Help shape pricing, processes, supplier relationships, and service offerings
- Work to expand our customer base and attract new business
- 313A — Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license
- G2 or G1 gas license
- Strong experience with both residential and commercial HVACr systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for mentorship
- A leadership mindset — you want to direct, manage, and build
- Digital skills, familiarity with productivity software and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Valid Ontario driver's licenses and clean abstract
- ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) card
- Experience managing crews or running a service department
- Familiarity with the Hamilton-to-Waterloo region
- Experience pricing and quoting jobs
- Experience in both HVACr service and construction
