Parts Counter Associate

Our client is looking for a Service Parts Coordinator to join a growing company with excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement. Reporting directly to the Parts Supervisor, this role is centered on parts research, procurement, inventory management, and customer service support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing parts and service sales while meeting or exceeding departmental sales margin goals, alongside supporting the shipping department as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Parts Research & Procurement: Research and look up precise components for clients, utilizing manufacturer parts manuals and technical databases.
• Inventory & Distribution: Order, stock, organize, and distribute parts from various vendors to maintain an efficient parts department.
• Shipping & Logistics Support: Assist with secondary operational responsibilities within the shipping and receiving department.
• Sales Growth: Help drive the growth of parts and service sales while consistently meeting or exceeding targeted margin goals.
• Multi-Tasking: Effectively manage multiple operational priorities daily while maintaining strong time management.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Literacy: Ability to work comfortably with a multitude of business applications, including ERP systems (such as PFW) and various manufacturer web-based applications.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
• Industry Knowledge: Practical experience with parts organization and a solid general knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills to interface effectively with vendors, team members, and clients.
