Toyota Boshoku Canada (TBCA) is seeking motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team at our Elmira facility on a 1-year contract basis. Our team manufactures seats, Weld, Door trims, and interior components for the Lexus RX vehicles.Located in Elmira, Ontario, our facility is a short drive from many surrounding communities. At TBCA, our strength is our people, and we are looking for reliable, team-oriented individuals who are ready to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What We OfferStarting wage: $27.75/hourWage increase after 3 monthsAfternoon shift premium of $2.00/hourOvertime paid at 1.5x regular wage after 40 hours per weekHealth benefits available from Day 1Team member recognition and social events throughout the yearCommunity involvement opportunities and charitable initiativesValuable manufacturing experience with a leading automotive supplierWho We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate:Has 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience (experience in other fast-paced environments such as food service will also be considered)Is available to work rotating day and afternoon shifts on a two-week rotationIs willing to work mandatory overtime as requiredCan stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movementsCan repeatedly lift up to 30 lbsHas excellent attendance and punctualityHas forklift experience (considered an asset)Works as part of a team and maintains a positive attitudeHas a high school diploma or equivalentDuties & ResponsibilitiesSupport assembly and manufacturing operationsFollow standardized work instructions to maintain quality standardsTrain and work in multiple manufacturing processes through scheduled job rotationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentMeet production goals and quality expectationsPerform other duties as assignedShift ScheduleDay Shift7:00 AM – 3:30 PMAfternoon Shift5:45 PM – 2:15 AMNote: Shifts may range from 8 to 10 hours depending on production requirements.
