We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused DZ Truck Driver to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading transportation, warehousing, and logistics company that provides innovative supply chain solutions across Canada.The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial DZ truck to transport goods and materials.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with Dispatch regarding delays, mechanical concerns, or route changes.
• Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations, including Hours of Service requirements.
• Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence in good standing.
• Clean driver's abstract and a relatively clean CVOR.
• Strong knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Previous freight handling experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable loading and unloading freight as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and climbing throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.

Schedule

• Temporary to Permanent opportunity
• 10–12 hour shifts
• Flexibility required based on operational needs
