Darling is committed to environmental sustainability, superior quality and excellent customer service.Job Title: Maintenance StorekeeperJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Non-Union Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm plus overtime if requiredResponsibilities: Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance parts, tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure accurate stock levels and availability. Receive, inspect, store, and issue parts and materials, maintaining usage records. Coordinate purchasing activities, including ordering parts, tracking deliveries, and working with suppliers to meet maintenance needs. Support maintenance operations by ensuring timely access to critical spare parts and assisting with inventory planning and control. Pick up Maintain a safe, organized, and clean storeroom while complying with company safety, housekeeping, and inventory management standards.Required Qualifications:Experience with CMMS and inventory systems is an assetValid Class 5 LicenseExperience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is an asset.2–5 years of warehouse, inventory, or maintenance storeroom experienceSome travel required to pick up partsStrong organization and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and customer service skillsEffective problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft OfficeAble to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working with maintenance staff, vendors, and operations teamsAble to meet the physical demands of the rolePhysical Requirements:Must have the ability to lift, push and pull 50+ poundsRequired to bend, twist, push/pull and leanClimbing into and out of transport truckExtended periods of sitting, standing and walkingWe Offer:$26.06 per hour plus Overtime after 40 hours worked.Company paid Benefits plans including Extended Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Disability and Employee Assistance Program.Uniforms provided.Safety shoe/boot reimbursement program.Defined Contribution Pension PlanEducational Assistance Programs, Scholarship Programs, Apprenticeship programsThank you for your interest in Darling International Canada Inc.
