We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals with experience in warehouse, production, and assembly work. Successful candidates will have previous experience in industrial or warehouse environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
This role is a great fit for people who are handy with tools and have a background in construction, carpentry, framing, or metal fabrication — the work of measuring, cutting, and assembling steel slats is similar to building garage or overhead doors, just done on a production line inside a manufacturing plant.
Location: Mississauga, ONShifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay: $20.00 per hourStart Date: ImmediateKey Responsibilities

• Accurately cut and assemble slats to precise specifications, ensuring dimensions meet quality standards
• Assemble slats securely, checking for alignment and structural integrity
• Accurately and safely operate the band saw, following all safety protocols
• Work with hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and wrenches
• Enter production data, track inventory levels, and generate reports using a computer
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and report any malfunctions to supervisors promptly
• Support additional warehouse and manufacturing tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
• Moderate computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
• Basic math skills (reading a tape measure, etc.)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to quality
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• CSA-approved safety shoes required

Assets

• Forklift experience – an asset but not mandatory (Counterbalance)
• Background in construction, carpentry, framing, or metal/sheet metal fabrication
• Comfortable and confident working with hand and power tools on a daily basis
