Job Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships to promote Platinum Pro-Claim and ensure a steady flow of work claims. They are also responsible for providing estimates on new jobs, and managing each job from start to finish. Each PM builds and maintains relationships with different insurance companies and adjusters.


Responsibilities:
  • Attending new claims and explain restoration process to homeowners and tenants
  • Maintaining a $200,000.00 per month sales target with a gross profit margin of greater than 45%
  • Being able to maintain current clients if you have taken over a previous project manager's portfolio
  • Developing business relationships with new clients
  • Having the ability to train an assistant and site lead upon meeting targets and requirements
  • Completing on-site estimates for residential and commercial mitigation and reconstruction
  • Managing all aspects of emergency and restorations claims (scoping, sketching, estimating, coordinating of resources, communicating with insured and adjusters)
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners and property managers. Be proactive in resolving customer service issues.
  • Liaising with appropriate departments and sub-trades to ensure that work is completed on time, on budget and meets Platinum Pro-Claim quality standards
  • Liaising with appropriate departments, sub-trades, homeowners and adjusters of the status of work. Inspect progress and work quality throughout the project lifespan.
  • Working with assigned Project Coordinator to ensure all administrative aspects of the jobs are performed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Building and maintaining relationships by meeting adjusters on jobs, providing timely and accurate estimates and billings, networking and attending industry meetings. Generate new leads through relationships with adjusters and project managers.
  • Working with appropriate resources to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Preparing accurate job costing and estimating, ensuring target margins are met.
  • Ensuring all relevant safety standards are followed per Platinum Pro-Claim and WorkSafeBC requirements
  • Participating in our on-call Project Management Team rotation
  • Working with our project management software, Restorify

Compensation

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (based on experience)

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years in Project Management where you handled your own files for a restoration company
  • Possesses solid understanding of restoration and structural repair.
  • Extensive understanding of insurance claims and property management as they relate to restoration.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Valid BC driver's license with a satisfactory driver abstract
  • Passing a criminal record check to our satisfaction
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Able to adapt and be flexible with constant changes of procedures and processes
  • Computer skills (MS Office, portable phone)
  • Thorough knowledge of Xactimate program and pricing
  • Must have business development and financial management skills
  • Must be organized, have strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
