Experienced Garage Door Installer / Service Technician

North Gate GTA Garage Doors is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Garage Door Installer to join our growing team. We proudly serve homeowners and business owners across the Greater Toronto Area, providing professional garage door replacement, repairs, spring replacement, opener installation, and emergency services.

Responsibilities

Install residential garage doors and garage door openers
Replace torsion and extension springs
Perform garage door repairs and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and troubleshoot garage door issues
Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate professionally with homeowners
Take before and after photos of completed jobs
Represent North Gate in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of garage door installation experience preferred
Experience with residential garage door systems
Knowledge of torsion spring replacement
Experience installing and servicing LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, or similar openers
Ability to lift 75 lbs or more
Comfortable working at heights
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional

Preferred Qualifications

Working at Heights Certification
Fall Protection Training
Own basic hand tools
Clean driving record
