Isidore Landscapes Inc. has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the Lower Mainland since 1994. Our landscape maintenance team specializes in gardens requiring horticultural expertise and specialized service.

We offer opportunities for training and advancement and encourage our team members to develop their skills and grow within the company.

Previous landscape & construction experience is an asset but not required. Training is provided.

Key Duties of the position include:

• Install and maintain seasonal planting
• Carry out planting, cultivation, mowing, trimming, edging & weeding
• Provide aeration, lime & fertilizers to lawns.
• Pruning of shrubs, trees, ground covers, hedges, and other plants.
• Operate and maintain all gardening equipment including mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and hand tools such as rakes, pruners, snips, spades and wheelbarrows.
• Represent Isidore Landscapes positively.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Physically capable, able to lift 40-60 pounds regularly.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to follow safe work practices.
• Ability to arrive at job sites independently.
• Valid BC Driver's License and landscape experience are assets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22-25 per hour

Benefits:

• Extended health and dental benefits (including Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability) following a 3-month probation period
• DPSP following 1 year of employment (Citizens and PR)
• 4% vacation pay

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, option for 3-day weekends

Experience:

• Landscaping: 3 months (preferred, not necessary)
